High winds Warning for Lake Havasu

Recommended actions
Take action to secure trash cans, lawn furniture, and other
lightweight fixtures and unsecured outdoor objects. Operators of
motorcycles, vans, campers, trailers, and other high profile
vehicles should be especially cautious for the possibility of
sudden, strong crosswinds and be prepared for areas of blowing
dust which could drastically reduce visibility.

…HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PDT /5 AM MST/
MONDAY…

* WHAT…Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected.

* WHERE…Mohave County in Northwest Arizona…most of San
Bernardino County in California…and far southern Clark
County in Nevada. This includes Lake Mead and Lake Mohave
National Recreation areas.

* WHEN…Through 5 AM Monday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are possible. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Docked boats
and marinas may experience damage from high winds.
